Leicestershire County Council (LCC) work in partnership with the Leicestershire and Rutland Association of Local Councils (LRALC) to support Parish and Town Councils in Leicestershire. We have a number of established engagement channels which are outlined below.
Parish Clerk Operational Meetings
LCC and LRALC hold operational meetings for Parish and Town Council Clerks every 6 weeks, as well as an Annual liaison event. The meetings provide an opportunity to share information on upcoming initiatives, to respond to queries and concerns held by Parish and Town Clerks, and to consider joint working opportunities to shape future support and services for our Communities.

Annual Parish Liaison Event
We hold an Annual Liaison Event for Parish and Town Councils in Leicestershire in July each year. This provides an opportunity to bring together representatives of Communities across Leicestershire to network, share best practice and hear updates from both the LRALC and County Council.
