Having seen an unprecedented amount of rain over the recent past, an increasing amount of work is being put into flood information and support.

In Leicestershire, around 450 properties experienced internal flooding. Many rural communities were affected, with impacts upon agriculture and rural businesses too. Recovery and further investigation work is ongoing with communities.

It is essential that rural communities continue to report any flooding. Grant support such as the Farming Recovery Fund can be accessed.
