Voluntary Action LeicesterShire
Voluntary Action Leicestershire provides a range of support for voluntary and community sector groups. This includes information, advice and training around setting up a community group/organisation; fundraising and income generation; assistance with reviewing grant applications; recruiting and managing volunteers; and business and sustainability planning for your organisation.
If you are a social enterprise, co-operative or Community Interest Company (CIC) in Leicestershire, you can access support from CASE.

The Association of Chairs is a membership organisation supporting Chairs / Vice Chairs of charities and social enterprises. The organisation has a range of resources which can help Chairs of trustee boards to ensure their organisation is run effectively.
The Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR)
The Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) helps to strengthen voluntary and community sector organisations and those that support them, through a range of research, insights and learning. The IVAR website contains a series of research reports, along with other guidance, frameworks and other information which will be of use to community organisations.
Impactasaurus is a website which helps community organisations to improve the way they demonstrate the impact they make through their work. This can help organisations to be more effective at what they do, as well as helping them to attract more funding.

Top Tips For Strengthening Your Organisation
Noel Singh (LCC Funding Manager) delivered a workshop presentation on 'Strengthening Your Organisation' to a group of voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations, at Voluntary Action LeicesterShire's 'Future Focus' VCS Conference in September 2018. The workshop involved sharing and discussing top tips for VCSE organisations, to ensure they are successful in achieving their aims, as well as securing a financially sustainable future.
