Bamboozle supports young people with profound or multiple learning difficulties and their families through creative engagement techniques. It works in schools and with families putting on shows that enable full interaction for the audience members.

Bamboozle was awarded a SHIRE Community Grant of just over £8,000 in February 2020 towards the costs of running performing arts session to engage young people in age appropriate multi-sensory experiences. The funding also contributed towards training for carers/teachers and parents to embed the Bamboozle approach, and enable those adults to independently apply the approach into action.

During the pandemic, like many other organisations that have been supporting vulnerable members of the community, Bamboozle has had to find creative ways of adapting the delivery of its services. Throughout the summer, Bamboozle delivered a series of live, online musical engagement sessions via Zoom, called 'Sing a Song'. Each session was for groups of up to 4 families. Despite the sessions being delivered in a new way, using an online medium, Bamboozle ensured, as it always does, that there were high levels of one to one interaction.

Bamboozle also developed a new show, titled "Down to Earth", which was delivered through 'Covid-safe' outdoor performances, held at Belgrave Hall and Rowley Fields allotment, providing a unique experience for 6 Leicestershire families.
