Getting Volunteers involved

Thank you to those that attended the Community Volunteering Event - How to get volunteers involved and keep them involved. The session took place on 1 February 2024. We were thrilled to see such a strong turnout and engagement. The session was well received and attended by organisations, businesses, and residents from the County.

Leicestershire County Council shared tips for involving and keeping volunteers. Attendees had the chance to explore Community volunteering, including initiatives like Community fridges. Voluntary Action Leicestershire delivered a presentation on Volunteering including tips on engaging young people and emphasised their training offer.

Community organisations and partners who attended the event had the opportunity to hear from several experts. We shared a lot of information and resources.
