The Well in Kibworth provides a vital role within the local community. It is essentially a coffee shop, café and charity shop with a difference, in that The Well provides a place of welcome for some of the more disadvantaged members of the community. Adults with mental health issues and learning disabilities are also given volunteering opportunities, within the café and charity shop. A number of community groups and projects also meet at The Well, including a Dementia Café; a free legal advice clinic; Citizens Advice drop-in sessions; and a Girls Group. The Well also has a small but comfortable Prayer and Contemplation Room, which is available for anyone to use for quiet time and reflection. The Room also doubles up as a meeting room, for local groups to meet to discuss issues of interest.

The Well has gone through quite a journey and significant transformation since its inception 10 years ago. The building, interior and décor has been modernised to high standards and specifications, and this is testament to the hard work of the trustees and staff. The volunteers who help to run the services at The Well have also commented on the difference The Well has made to their confidence and overall wellbeing.
